Carboxyfluorescein is an extremely useful fluorescent reagent for monitoring intracellular pH and for general labeling of cells and tissues, because of its high extinction coefficient, water solubility and pH sensitivity.
Absorption 475nm at neutral/acidic pH; 492nm at basic pH.
|Solubility:||Soluble in H2O (pH>6) or DMF.|
