|Alternative Name:||TGase 1 (human) (recombinant) (His), TG1 (human) (recombinant) (His), Keratinocyte Protein-glutamine γ-Glutamyltransferase (human) (recombinant) (His)|
|Source:||Produced in E. coli.|
|Formulation:||Lyophilized from 1ml 50mM TRIS pH8, 10mM glutathione.|
|Specific Activity:||>3000U/mg protein. One unit is defined as the increase in fluorescence intensity of 1a.u./min. Activity is determined by measuring the rate of fluorescence enhancement after TG1-catalyzed monodansylcadaverine-incorporation into N, N-dimethylated casein (L.Lorand, et al.; Anal. Biochem. 44, 231 (1971)).|
|Reconstitution:||Reconstitute with 10mM glutathione dissolved in water. For activation add 10mM Ca2+. After reconstitution, the solution should be cooled on ice for short term storage. Storage for several weeks is possible at ≤-20°C after addition of 50% glycerol.|
|Long Term Storage:||-20°C|
