evoxx technologies is an industrial biotech company focusing on the development and production of industrial enzymes and development of oligosaccharides and polysaccharides to be primarily used in food applications. We are specifically targeting ingredients that offer consumer health benefits. evoxx has a team of about 40 scientists and technicians and two sites in Germany, Monheim am Rhein and Potsdam.

The Monheim site is the headquarters of former evocatal GmbH, which was founded in 2006 by Dr. Thorsten Eggert and two Professors as a spin-off of the Institute for Molecular Enzyme Technology at the University of Düsseldorf in the Forschungszentrum Jülich (Research Center Jülich). Since then, the company has been active in scientific networks, headed international collaboration projects and has built a solid business in the development, production and sales of enzymes. evocatal was one of the founding members of Germany’s Industrial Association of White Biotechnology (IWBio), Cluster Industrial Biotechnology (CLIB2021) and supports Cluster CleanTech NRW.

The industrial biotech company aevotis GmbH, located on the Biotech Campus Hermannswerder in Potsdam, Germany was founded in 2009 by Martina Döring and Dr. Volker Landschütze. The founding shareholders held management positions in Bayer BioScience GmbH Potsdam and have more than 25 years hands-on experience in business development and R&D in the field of biotechnology. Both founders are well versed in the management of complex, global and cross-industry projects and over the years, have built up a global network of contacts in science and industry. The company is developing innovative, proprietary carbohydrate products for application in down-stream industries based a technology and patent portfolio exclusively licensed in from Bayer.
