Doxycycline is a synthetic teracycline. Inhibits angiogenesis in a quantitative in vitro assay of angiogenesis [1]. Inhibits proliferation of the human leukemia cell line K562 [2]. It reduces lung metastases by inhibiting the secretion and activity of marrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) [3]. |
